I've been coaching for a long time, and I know there are plenty of great trainers out there—many of whom have earned their expertise through research, experience, or both. But the reality is, a lot of coaching has become generic. Many companies offering online training programs are too large to truly personalize their approach, and climbing gym courses are often too scripted to make a real impact. They miss the nuances—your unique training psychology, equipment access, and the constant adjustments needed for real progress.
Where I set myself apart is in my commitment. When most people wind down for the day, I’m studying climbing, analyzing movement, staying up to date with the latest research, and checking in with my clients—because I genuinely care. I believe in practicing what I preach, and I’ll never ask you to do something I haven’t tested myself. My coaching isn’t about handing out pre-made plans; it’s about understanding you as an individual and adapting training to fit your needs.
I’ve climbed and competed at a respectable level in both sport climbing and bouldering, but what I’m most proud of is maintaining a high performance while balancing life’s other priorities.
